What the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course looks like
At Scuba Center Asia in Nusa Lembongan, we make your Advanced journey fun, practical, and inspiring. Here’s how it works:
- 5 Open Water Dives
- 1 Deep Dive (up to 30m)
- 1 Navigation Dive
- 3 Elective Dives, chosen together with your instructor from: Drift Dive, Night Dive, Digital Underwater Photography, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Fish Identification, and many many more depending on conditions.
Day 1 | Meet & Greet (3 pm)
Meet your instructor and fellow students, check your certification and equipment, go over your experience, and choose your elective dives.
We guide you through the best elective dives in the Nusa Penida Marine park, handpicked by our team and based on your goals. Together we’ll review your previous dive experiences (good and bad), so YOUR Advanced Course is tailored to you! Last but not least, we’ll set you up with e-learning to get started.
Day 2 & 3 | Dive, Dive, Dive!
Meet at the dive center at 7:20 am. Depending on water conditions, you’ll complete 3 dives one day and 2 the next.
We kick things off properly with three dives in the Nusa Penida Marine Park to get you fully back in the flow. Calm starts, progressive challenges, and plenty of water time to rebuild confidence, sharpen skills, and feel comfortable again.
The last dive day starts strong with the Deep Dive, followed by another adventure dive tailored to you. Finishing your Advanced Course feeling confident, capable, and ready for more.
No long theory sessions—just five short modules to prepare you for each dive. You’ll spend most of your time where it matters: in the water.
