Kim is the avatar and founder of Scuba Center Asia and has been integral to shaping the foundation of our Dive Professional team. She started her dive career 30 years ago, and for the past [YII] years, she focused on “living the dream”. Together with her partner, they built Scuba Center Asia into a successful PADI 5* IDC Dive Resort on Lembongan Island. Soon to be a PADI Career Development Center.
In her younger years as a non-professional diver, she worked in the advertising industry in Amsterdam, where she was responsible for the million-dollar budgets of global brands.
As a professional diver later on in Thailand, she has taught hundreds of new Dive Pros in the last ten years. Fast forward she now has built up a successful diving business known as Scuba Center Asia Lembongan with a dedicated Professional International Team that coaches you along the way to become a dive instructor.
Kim is great with everything and everybody. Next to managing the dive center she also takes cares of the customers in the resort. With her big smile, and even better laugh and perfect feeling for customer service she makes sure that your stay will be from the highest quality.
When you decide to widen your experience and decide to do PADI Specialties or want to become a PADI Professional then most likely she will be your mentor. Kim has logged over 3000 dives diving in areas such as; the Caribbean, Thailand, Netherlands, Mauritius, Philippines, Borneo Malaysia, Komodo National Park, Australia and of course the Bali and Nusa Lembongan area. Kim is a very experienced PADI Master Instructor and has certified hundreds of students in all levels of the PADI system of recreational diving.
