Welcome to Scuba Center Asia (PADI Five Star Instructor Development Dive Resort, Nusa Lembongan Indonesia). By booking a course, dive trip, or any service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. General Information
Scuba Center Asia operates under Indonesian law.
Our team is committed to your safety, enjoyment, and professional training.

2. Bookings & Payments
- Course Bookings: To secure your place on any PADI course, a deposit of 2,000,000 IDR is required. This covers your personal access to PADI eLearning and is non-refundable. The deposit is deducted from your total course fee.
- Fun Dives / Certified Divers: A prepayment is required to confirm your spot on the boat. This must be completed before the scheduled trip.
- Payments can be made in cash, by credit card, or via online transfer (Wise, Revolut, etc.).
- All prices are stated in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise noted.
- A booking is considered confirmed once we receive the deposit (for courses) or prepayment (for fun dives) and send you a written confirmation by email or text message.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
For certified divers who booked a divetrip:
- Cancellation before 5:00 pm the day prior: full refund.
- Cancellation after 5:00 pm the day prior: 50% refund.
- Morning-of cancellation due to sickness: 50% refund.
No-shows or late arrivals that result in missing the boat (after 7:30 am for morning trips or 12:30 pm for afternoon trips) are non-refundable.
For student divers who booked a course:
The prepayment of 2,000,000 IDR is non-refundable, as this covers your personal access to PADI eLearning. If you have paid the full course fee in advance, the remaining balance (beyond the 2,000,000 IDR) will be refunded according to our cancellation timeline:
- Cancellation before 5:00 pm the day prior: full refund.
- Cancellation after 5:00 pm the day prior: 50% refund.
- Morning-of cancellation due to sickness: 50% refund.
No-shows or late arrivals that result in missing the boat (after 7:30 am for morning trips or 12:30 pm for afternoon trips) are non-refundable.
By Scuba Center Asia:
If we must cancel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule where possible or refund unused services.
No refunds are given for (sea)sickness, unused dives, or leaving early.
4. Health & Certification
- Certified divers must present proof of certification and are expected to have logged a dive within the last 6–12 months. If you haven’t been in the water recently, please let the Scuba Center Asia team know so we can discuss whether a refresher is recommended for your safety and enjoyment.
- All divers must either complete a medical statement or confirm they are fit to dive, in line with PADI Standards.
- Students are required to finish their eLearning and knowledge reviews before starting practical sessions.
- Minimum age requirements apply depending on the chosen program.
5. Liability & Insurance
At Scuba Center Asia, your safety is our top priority. We strictly follow PADI standards and procedures, and all guests are required to complete the official PADI paperwork before attending any course or dive activity.
- Diving is an adventure sport that naturally carries risks. By booking with us, you acknowledge these risks and agree to dive at your own risk.
- Scuba Center Asia cannot be held liable for personal injury, accidents, or the loss/damage of personal belongings.
- We strongly recommend that all guests have comprehensive travel and dive insurance that covers diving accidents, medical treatment, and emergency evacuation.
- A signed PADI liability release is required before participating in any dive or course.
6. Safety Rules
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, divers are expected to follow PADI standards, marine park regulations, and all instructions from our staff. Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or showing irresponsible behavior, may be refused service without refund.
Dive sites are selected by our team based on daily conditions and safety considerations. Please note that not following directions from our dive team, either underwater or on the boat, may result in exclusion from activities
7. Equipment Use
Our equipment is maintained to PADI standards. Guests are responsible for the proper care of the equipment while using it. Damage or loss due to negligence may be charged.
You’re welcome to bring and use your own dive gear, as long as it’s safe and in good working order. If you’d like to store your equipment at the dive center, that’s no problem, but please note it’s at your own risk. While we do our best to keep everything safe, Scuba Center Asia cannot take responsibility for any loss, damage, or breakage.
8. Environmental Responsibility
We are proud to be a PADI Green Star Dive Center and follow the Code of Conduct set by the local Coral Triangle Institute and local research group Marine Megafauna Foundation.
Guests agree to follow responsible diving practices: no touching marine life, no collecting, no standing on coral. Anyone acting in violation of our environmental code may be excluded from diving without a refund.
9. Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken during our activities. Scuba Center Asia may use this content for marketing purposes unless you let us know in advance that you prefer not to be included.
For safety reasons, only certified divers are allowed to use a GoPro or personal camera underwater. Any footage taken by our team is intended for marketing and will not be provided individually to guests. If you’d like to see or share the highlights, you can simply download or follow them through our social media channels.
10. Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Indonesian law. Any disputes will be handled in the local jurisdiction of Bali, Indonesia.
