Master Scuba Diver versus Divemaster: What’s the Difference?
Divemaster (DM): This is the first step into the world of dive professionals. You’ll learn to supervise, assist with courses, deepen your dive theory, and learn to guide certified divers. It’s training for those who want to start working in the dive industry and get a taste of the Professional lifestyle.
Master Scuba Diver (MSD): This isn’t a job qualification but an achievement level. It’s “the black belt of recreational diving.” It’s designed for passionate divers who don’t want or cant become a Dive Pro but want to keep improving, gaining new skills, and collecting epic underwater experiences.
