Unforgettable diving experiences
I dived with Scuba Center Asia for 6 days and had an amazing time. The last 2 days are experiences I’ll never forget — I was incredibly lucky to see a Mola and a thresher shark on the same dive, and we had manta rays on 4 consecutive days, including a ninja manta that we had completely to ourselves for around 15 minutes. I was recommended to SCA by numerous dive buddies over the last couple of months, and I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of them. I’ll definitely be diving with them again. I was lucky enough to dive with Fabio, Kevin, Kris and Sebastian, all of whom were fantastic. I also had a couple of inexperienced dive buddies along the way (you can’t choose who signs up!), but they were handled incredibly well by some of the highest-quality divemasters and instructors I’ve dived with, and I was still able to have a brilliant experience on every dive. Everything was well organised and I always felt I was in very capable hands. They’re also partnered with the local Mola and Manta conservation team, who gave us a really informative presentation about these incredible animals and how we should behave around them in the water. It was great to see a dive centre putting that emphasis on responsible diving and conservation. I honestly couldn’t recommend Scuba Center Asia highly enough and will definitely be back.

PADI refresher
I did a PADI refresher with these guys. Very convenient to my hotel. Very flexible could fit me in any day at 2pm. They easily found my original certification from 1998. Didn’t end up diving with them as did a snorkel trip as travelling with a friend who wasn’t diving.

Beste duikcentrum op Lembongan/ Penida
Fantastisch duikcentrum. Prima staff, topspullen, heerlijke vibes. Ook een goede plek om je Open Water PADI te halen. Er zijn zeer ervaren instructeurs, een oefenzwembad. Kortom wil je duiken rond Nusa Penida/ Lembongan: er is maar één keus: Scuba Center Asia

Amazing place to learn to dive!
Completing my Open Water PADI certification was an incredible experience. Dadi was an outstanding instructor! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring, which helped me feel comfortable and confident in the water. The entire team was friendly and supportive, making the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. The dive locations were absolutely beautiful, with stunning reefs and plenty of marine life. Best time diving around Nusa Penida
Had a wonderful 4 days of diving around stunning Nusa Penida with the Scuba Center Asia team based in Mushroom Bay in Lembongan. The team were professionnel, patient, knowledgeable and attentive and pointed out so many amazing creatures - frog fish, ray shark, turtles and of course mantas to name a few - special shout out to my awesome guides Fabio and Dadi and the crew 😊 We got to the sites early to beat the crowds, and the Indonesian lunch on board was reliably delicious. Good Diving

Dive sites ridiculously busy and dangerous kit
We would not recommend this dive center. Whilst the communication prior to our booking was great, with quick correspondence over email and answers to our queries, the vibe once we arrived was very odd and not welcoming. We booked in advance to do some fun dives and knew we would be going to Manta Point and Crystal Bay (as they’re the daily sites of most centres around here by the seems of it…). We also knew that these sites would likely be relatively busy…however that’s an understatement. It is dangerous, unethical and unsustainable. There are a ridiculous number of divers and snorkellers at Manta Point. It is putting a lot of pressure on the natural ecosystem and it was way way too busy. There were at least 30-40 divers plus numerous snorkellers all over the manta cleaning station. It is not fair on the mantas and I really did not like being a part of those numbers. Had we had known it was going to be like this, we wouldn’t have gone. It was also dangerous from a divers perspective with peoples fins in your face and regulators being kicked from peoples mouths. My dive buddy was shoved out of the way by one diver who wanted to swim towards a manta…totally unethical, and totally tourist and money oriented. We should not exploit our oceans like this. Crystal bay was not much different. Again incredibly busy with at least 40 boats all in the bay. Whilst the guides were clearly competent divers, the whole vibe was just very money grabbing, not really customer focussed or all about trying to make sure you had a great time. In addition, the equipment was shocking…worst equipment I have ever used in a dive centre. The regulators were rusty, my buddy had to ask for a new regulator set because he was handed one with an entirely split inflator hose…completely unacceptable and entirely dangerous. Utterly shocking that they wouldn't even check their own kit, let alone let it get to a stage like that! My regulator purge button was broken and leaked in water, and my BCD was 2 sizes too big and they said they didn’t have any others.  All in all, one of the worst dive centres and diving experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend the sites, nor the center. These sites need to be managed sustainably, and at the moment, they really aren’t. The center need to invest in new kit, as their current stock seems to be decades old.

Great diving day!
We had a fantastic diving day with Dedy at Manta Point and Crystal Bay today. Dedy is a very quiet dive guide, who knows a lot and has a very good eye even for small special features. The dive center is professional, the equipment well maintained and 💯 Recommendation!

Just dive here. I've solved your problem!
It's not often you go to a dive school and feel like you are just hanging out with your mates. Kim and Bas have created a beautiful and amazing school/dive centre with staff and equipment that will not disappoint. I've been a dive instructor and have seen a few places in my time and this place is seriously impressive. All you need from learning on-site with their pool as a beginner all the way to becoming and instructor. Bloody brilliant!!
