I first came to this island over ten years ago and still remember my first manta ray and mola mola here. Those moments shaped my love for diving. Today, I’m proud to teach the IDC in the very same place that inspired me, and I want you to create your own unforgettable memories, not just pass your exams.

Unlike the big and busy Bali, Penida or the smaller, more crowded Gili Islands, Nusa Lembongan offers space, island charm, and world-class diving. I love that the dive center is in Mushroom Bay, away from the dusty chaos of Jungut Batu, but close enough to zip over when you need. Just a short ride from Seaweed Farms and the breathtaking Devil’s Tear. Between training days, you can explore the island by scooter, discover surf breaks, yoga studios, and quiet beaches, or simply recharge with a sunset view.
During the IDC, we keep balance in mind. You’ll have two scheduled days off to catch up on theory, relax, or explore the island.

Sometimes the water temperature is 29 degrees Celsius, or it can drop to 24 degrees. That’s how you build the confidence to manage your students anywhere in the world.
At Scuba Center Asia, we have a dedicated boat and training site just minutes away from the dive center. This allows us to practice organization, briefings, and open water scenarios in a safe but realistic setting.

My real name is Laura Kazimierska, though around the dive world I’m simply known as Kazi. Short, sweet, and easy to remember. I’ve had the privilege of teaching and diving across the world, from the Maldives, Mexico, and the Gili Islands, to cave diving training that shaped my love for sidemount diving. All of this experience is what I bring to our IDC: a mix of professionalism, fun, and personal mentorship. This is why you need to become a PADI Dive Instructor with Scuba Center Asia Lembongan.

For example, I’m one of those divers who is always cold (yes, even at 29°C, I wear layers).
