Kazi is Scuba Center Asia’s powerhouse PADI Course Director, bringing over a decade of experience from the Gili Islands to Lembongan. Known across the dive industry for her sharp eye for detail, high-quality standards, and unstoppable love for diving. She trains future instructors with passion, patience, and a no-BS approach. When she’s not shaping the next generation of dive pros, she’s underwater blowing bubbles or geeking out on gear.
My real name is Laura Kazimierska, though around the dive world I’m simply known as Kazi. Short, sweet, and easy to remember. I’ve had the privilege of teaching and diving across the world, from the Maldives, Mexico, and the Gili Islands, to cave diving training that shaped my love for sidemount diving. All of this experience is what I bring to our IDC: a mix of professionalism, fun, and personal mentorship. This is why you need to become a PADI Dive Instructor with Scuba Center Asia Lembongan.
When training to become a PADI Dive Instructor with SCA Lembongan: I also know how to make you feel supported. For example, I’m one of those divers who is always cold (yes, even at 29°C, I wear layers). For me, comfort is key, and I teach you to think the same way: your students’ comfort is what allows you to focus on teaching, safety, and creating joy underwater.
As your PADI Course Director at Scuba Center Asia Lembongan, my goal is to guide you in becoming not just competent, but GREAT. I want you to understand every course, every skill, and how to teach it to your future students. This way, your students walk away knowing you’re the best instructor they’ve ever had! I also want you to explore your direction as an instructor. Whether it’s working locally in Indonesia, traveling across Southeast Asia, or eventually guiding divers worldwide. Together we are a team!
