Bali is home to the top 10 of dive locations of the world. Scuba Center Asia is at the heart of this “Coral Triangle” and located on Lembongan. The dive sites here are part of the Nusa Penida Marine Park, a MPA (Marine Protected Area) that covers all dive sites of Lembongan island, Ceningan, and Nusa Penida. This marine paradise offers some of the richest coral reefs and diverse marine life of the planet.
- The spectacular Mola Mola (Ocean Sunfish) from July through November.
- Manta rays are found at Manta Bay and Manta Point Nusa Penida all year around.
- Different types of sharks all year around White-tip, Bamboo sharks, Thresher sharks and Whale sharks.

Dive Trips | Your dive, your day
The best dive sites are all in the ‘front yard’ of Scuba Center Asia Lembongan. A diving trip at Scuba Center Asia includes two dives around the Nusa Penida Marine Park. The scuba dive trips include two tank dives, plus free use of our basic diving equipment, a lovely homemade Indonesian vegetarian brunch in between the dives, plus your dive instructor or dive guide. Add extra value to your divetrip with a GoPro or dive computer rental. Simply book it in advance and enjoy it during your dives for a small additional fee.
Our dive trip go out mainly at 7.30 am and you are back at 12.30 pm. If you like to go diving in the afternoon, we can arrange that! All trips to the dive sites of Nusa Penida take between 5 and 40 minutes with our fiberglass speedboat. During your surface interval, we travel to the next dive site. The Penida reef in this area is so diverse. You have to dive into these dive sites more than once during your stay with us.
The Crystal Bay dive site is considered the best place to spot some Mola Mola. Unfortunately, this area has very strong and tricky currents that may make it impossible for one to dive at certain times.

The Penida reef in this area is so diverse. You have to dive into these dive sites more than once during your stay with us. The reef has many soft and hard corals, which attract an enormous amount of turtles! Yes, the endangered Green and Hawksbill turtle is here! And not just one! All different kinds of macro life will blow your mind. When the currents pick up the dive site, SD is ideal for a drift dive. If you look away from the reef into the blue, you might see some white-tip sharks or tuna hunting. If you are fortunate, a baby whale shark will swim by.
Ped is fascinating the second you go down. Many hidden treasures underwater. Sental is the calmest of all. PMG is the coolest one.
And did you ever hear of PmG? A very special and mysterious dive site on the north coast of Nusa Penida. Hidden between two more known dive sites Buyuk and Sental. Special because there is a little temple on the top of the surface. Or actually same like the Tanah Lot in Bali, whenever it is low tide you see the temple been build on a rock. So PmG is a kind of a mini Tanah Lot based at Nusa Penida dive site.
Mysterious, because the famous Mola Mola seems to visit it a lot! Even in low season! So if we can go down there at the perfect time and temperature, the Mola will come to say hi. This dive site is also one of the sites we dive when you choose to do your PADI Deep Specialty course. Exciting!

The northeast side of Nusa Penida is even more beautiful than all the other dive sites around Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. The reason is that not many dive centers go here.
Sampalan and Karang Sari are famous for the thresher sharks, stunning canyons, and deeper walls. The Mola? Yes, they are everywhere.
An extra diving fee is charged, but it is worth diving! We will bring some extra snacks and drinks on the boat to make it the perfect diving day!
